Project Stupid and Make-A-Major

Matthew Sorensen and I have long talked about making a series of stupid websites and running ads off them. “listr” Screenshots

“listr” Screenshots

Here are some screenshots from listr, the Android app I made. (It’s a to-do list which lets you add priorities and due dates.) It has a few bugs, but overall I was pleased, and considering writing a back-end for it for my next full-fledged CS project. Definitely the most satisfying mobile dev I’ve done so far.

If I were a wildly successful iPhone developer…

…well, there are many things which I suspect I wouldn’t be concerned about, the least of which being where I’m going to go to college. However, I suspect I might be concerned about income from my apps. As a cheap student, I simply don’t purchase paid iPhone apps (the one exception would be the marvelous WolframAlpha app) and I don’t want to make an app that I myself wouldn’t use.
